Building Momentum, by Steve Casey

Updated: Jun 10, 2018

The King’s Academy Opportunity Foundation is seeking to expand the reach of our organization and the opportunity to support its goals.  The new name reflects the continued focus on King’s Academy but allows us to broaden our appeal. This newsletter and other communications and events are all part of our campaign to enhance educational opportunities in a region where extra efforts to learn together, build cross-cultural relationships, and to solve complex problems are deeply needed.

Our first objective has been to complete our Class of 1980 pledge and acknowledge what we’ve accomplished so far. The Class of 1980 has made a bold commitment to King’s Academy. We ask all who have not yet been able to deliver on their pledges to please do so, and we welcome those who would like to give again to help us close out our original pledge. Here’s an easy way to give.

Donors

  • The Orange Court Level: Donations greater than $5,000… 49 donors*

  • The Alnilam Level: Donations from $1,000 to $4,999… 35 donors

  • The Meissa Level: Donations from $500 to $999… 6 donors

  • The Nihal Level: Donations from $1 to $499… 8 donors

  • Monthly recurring donors, providing $10 to $100/mo… 5 donors.

*The Orange Court Level includes 10 donors who have given more than $50,000 each.

Class of 1980 Monument

Once our promise is completed, King’s has graciously offered to place a permanent monument on campus with a plaque listing the names of all donors toward the $1M goal.  This will permanently seal our place in the history of King’s Academy and His Majesty’s dream.
