The Lawrenceville School, one of America’s finest prep schools, posted a story about a visit by representatives of King’s Academy in The Lawrence, it’s online school newspaper.
“…When asked why students should apply to King’s Academy, Westman said, “I would recommend that people apply to King’s Academy because it is a unique experience to get a first hand look and understanding of the Middle East, and is also an amazing
opportunity to learn Arabic. What you learn in class you can use immediately outside the hallway or in the dorm or on the soccer field.”
“Global awareness is a huge part of King’s [Academy].”
“Kings is a unique, safe multicultural way of not just learning about the Middle East but learning about the world,” Hyson said, “It is a wonderful bridge to understanding a world that is not well understood.”
We will try to follow up on how many Lawrenceville students have taken advantage of the King’s opportunity.
