It's impossible not to see that our current Opportunity Fund Scholar has the potential to change the world. In honor of Ibrahim's boundless energy, deep curiosity and gentle demeanor, this year's fundraising campaign is called FOUR YEARS TO CHANGE THE WORLD. Join us in identifying and supporting up and coming leaders.
Donations
Anyone is welcome to donate to the King’s Academy Opportunity Fund and, if allowed in the donor’s country, many can also deduct the donation on his or her tax returns. The Opportunity Fund passes all donations through to King’s Academy, which is a 501(c)(3) corporation under US Tax Code. There are no limitations to “individuals” or “donors” – and this group may include graduates of Deerfield Academy (all graduating years), The Eaglebrook School, alumni of other New England prep schools, and Friends and Family members. Donors may also include corporations, non-profit organizations and foundations with missions to support educational and/or regional initiatives, and others.
Corporations may make monetary donations and matching gifts for employee donors. The KA Opportunity Fund also welcomes challenge grants and in-kind donations. Funds can be donated by other non-profit organizations, including those with an educational, and/or international mission to assist youth and provide opportunities to young people aged 15-18. Non-profit organizations with an athletic or research mission, or any focused on the Middle East, are encouraged to support our mission.

How Are Donations Managed?
Donated funds are typically made through the KA Opportunity Fund website. (You can use this URL: https://www.ka-opportunityfoundation.org/donation-form). The donation process is securely managed by PayPal. When a donation is made, a notice of donation is sent to our Board. On a regular basis, the account is reconciled, then funds are transferred from the PayPal account to King’s Academy. Tax forms are distributed to the donor.
Alternatively, donors can send a check. Please inquire through our contact page about where to send a check.
Special donations
Some donors prefer to give special gifts which require special treatment (gifts of stocks or securities, an especially large donation, or one sent with special instructions due to tax purposes or donor request). Such special donations are handled directly by King's Academy. We will facilitate communications and then let the donor handle the details directly with the school. We are flexible and will comply with any reasonable request on how a donation should be treated so that all donations reach their intended target.
